About the Book
Aim of the book is to make aware the parents and senior citizen to think about the old age in advanced stage so as to escape from the incidents of mistreatment given by children and grand-children. Policy of 1999 on older person is in itself is complete law and needs effective implementation of the same. The Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizen Act, 2007 is a step to provide maintenance to parents and senior citizen. Further International Elderly law has been discussed in detail. In addition to it, field work on problems of elderly living in Amritsar has been done. Lastly, Conclusion and genuine suggestions are provided, by using these suggestions constructive outcome may be expected. |
